Anger is a complicated emotion that can be problematic if not managed effectively, and domestic violence creates a cycle of shame that most people wish to escape.
This anger management course focuses on understanding:
- the brain-based biology behind anger
- thoughts and awareness
- feelings, triggers, and reactions
- communication and conflict styles
- domestic violence and shame
- 20+ healthy coping mechanisms
Anger Management 101
- Participate from anywhere with internet access.
- Access is easy. All you have to do is download the free Zoom app and click the course link sent to you.
- A certificate of completion will be emailed when all course requirements are met.
Course Details (8-hour)
- Monday night: Attend a live, virtual class from 6-8 p.m. (CST)
- Tuesday night: Complete one hour of homework on your own time.
- Wednesday night: Attend a live, virtual class from 6-8 p.m. (CST)
- Thursday night: Complete one hour of homework on your own time.
- Friday night: Attend a live, virtual class from 6-8 p.m. (CST)
- Attendance is monitored by showing your face during the entire class.
- 8-hour course fee: $200 Pay using Venmo, credit card, or Apple Pay.
- Referrals from public defenders, parole/probation officers and some social service agencies may quality for a discount.

- Tuesday night: Complete one hour of homework on your own time.
- Wednesday night: Attend a live, virtual class from 6-8 p.m. (CST)
- Thursday night: Complete one hour of homework on your own time.
- Friday night: Attend a live, virtual class from 6-8 p.m. (CST)
- One additional day or evening: Schedule a virtual or in-person visit with one of our anger management consultants (a one-hour meeting with one hour of personalized homework based on your needs).
- One additional day or evening: Schedule a second virtual or in-person visit with one of our anger management consultants (a one-hour meeting with one hour of personalized homework based on your needs).
- Attendance is monitored by showing your face during the entire class and showing up for the individual appointments.
- 12-hour course fee: $300 Pay using Venmo, credit card, or Apple Pay.

Class Counselor
Brian C. Vega, LPC, NCC
Brian Vega is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is National Board Certified and certificated in Civil and Family Mediation. He has also been an instructor for the Missouri State University graduate-level counseling program. Brian has facilitated many different types of groups for adults and teens. He has owned a private practice office since 2005 where he does individual and couples therapy. He also helps people needing letters for an emotional support animal.
